Kurri
Kurri is the eastern gateway to Hunter Valley
Wine Country.
Located between the cities of Cessnock and Maitland,
Kurri Kurri is a 90 minute drive from Sydney
and just 15km from the northern end of the F3
Freeway.

coal mining history. The home of Richmond

Kurri is a country town of unique heritage
ambience with streets and hotels built at
the turn of the century. The town is undergoing
a transformation with the implementation of
a mural project depicting many scenes of cultural
and heritage importance to Kurri Kurri and
district. Kurri Kurri is home to one of the
last drive in theatres in New South Wales
and the newest aquatic centre in the Hunter
region.
